This run is about 150 miles and should only be ridden when the Millersburg Ferry is running. You could ride south out of Millersburg on 147, cross the river at 322/22 and come back up on 11 on the other side of the river if the ferry isn’t running but it adds a few miles. It is big bike friendly and mostly good quality gravel and dirt roads. If it’s raining be careful, there are a lot of clay roads and they get really slimy when wet.
The actual route starts and ends at Redner’s Market at 22 Forest Dr, Hegins, PA 17938. Lots of parking and a gas pump so you can trailer here if you choose to.
